The Maples’ mission is to be the best home for each resident – every day. We’re eager to say to them, “Welcome home.”.
Core strength, balance and mobility exercises
Essential for maintaining a strong and stable foundation, improving posture, and increasing overall physical function
Spiritual programs
Help individuals connect with their inner selves, find meaning and purpose in life, and cultivate a sense of peace and well-being through practices such as meditation, prayer, and mindfulness
Individualized life skills and an adaptive schedule of programming to match each resident’s interests
Help residents develop the skills and confidence needed to lead fulfilling lives, and can also help to match their interests and abilities, leading to greater engagement and enjoyment in daily activities
Physical therapy
Aims to improve movement, reduce pain, and prevent or treat injuries or disabilities through the use of exercises, stretches, and other techniques. We work with residents to address their specific needs and goals, and also provide education and guidance to help residents manage their conditions and maintain their progress over time
Family events
Occasions where members of a family come together to celebrate, socialize, or simply spend time with one another. These events can be formal or informal, and can range from holiday gatherings and birthdays to picnics, sporting events, or other activities that bring people together. Participating in family events can help to strengthen relationships, foster a sense of belonging, and create lasting memories
Cultural and community engagement
Ways in which individuals and groups participate in and contribute to the culture and communities in which they live. This can include activities such as volunteering, attending cultural events or festivals, joining clubs or organizations, or participating in political or social causes. Engaging in cultural and community activities can help to broaden one’s horizons, build relationships, and contribute to the well-being and vitality of the community
Events designed to connect generations
Bring together people of different ages in order to foster understanding, build relationships, and facilitate intergenerational exchange. These events can take many forms, such as intergenerational educational programs, recreational activities, or social gatherings, and can help to bridge the gap between different age groups, promoting mutual understanding and appreciation
Social interactions with large and small group activities
Large group activities, such as community events or organized sports, can provide a sense of belonging and a chance to interact with a diverse group of people. Small group activities, such as discussion groups or hobby clubs, can offer a more intimate setting for socialization and the development of close relationships. Both types of activities can help to improve social skills, reduce isolation, and promote overall well-being
